Such is Life caught our attention with their new single Alive.  A catchy empowered anthem, the track is dominated by the singers catchy percussive cadence.  Her voice is ripe with attitude and urban flare.  That attitude and urban flex recall the works of Remi Wolf, which blend elements of revival retro R&B with modern indie pop.  

Such Is Life sings with a passion and an emotional quiver that infects the songs most delicate moments, like when she sings “We belong here.”  The narrative is energizing and the upbeat vibe adds to the songs celebratory traits.  Lyrically it connects with a generation ready to embrace their truths, one that commits to making change and not just recognizing where it’s needed.
