Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends caught our attention with both an innovative band name and a new jam called Wedding Song.  This innovative moving composition recalls the classic appeal of indie trailblazers Midlake.  It pulls from the legacies of Richard Thompson and even Fleetwood Mac.  There’s progressive appeal and drama in the arrangement, as the drums drop in and out with theatrical flair.  That classic detail has been lost on modern indie rock, but it’s back with Wedding Song. 

Lyrically, Wedding Song uses abstract imagery to find grace in the moment.  With each chorus it culminates in the celebration known to this dying tradition.  Wedding Song celebrates the sanctity of matrimony in a world that’s turning its back on the idea.
