All That I Am by Bishop Takes Queen instantly caught our attention with its upbeat feel. The groovy indie rock riff conjures memories of Nirvana. Fans may also think of the All American Rejects when listening to this record. We love how the energy changes throughout the song. With its grungy guitar riffs and a combination of contrasting clean rock guitar solos and vocals, we hear a lot of indie rock and alternative pop punk inspiration.
Mike and Lee are the two creative genius’s behind this work of art. They have collaborated with Roni Szpakowski on this track who recorded it for them and had great input. This band started with Mike trying to pursue a solo project, and eventually roped Lee into helping out. They created Bishop Takes Queen shortly after, and then the rest was history. We love the energy that this song gives off.
