His recent single Bones is lifted by a bright textured guitar. It collides with a beautiful band arrangment. Everything is elegant on this thoughtful release.

The Bankes Brothers are refreshingly cool on their new single Georgie Peaches. The Victoria, BC band formed in a pool hall one Friday night in 2017. Less than a week later, they played their first gig. Delivering a dynamic set list ranging from Otis Redding to Talking Heads, the former high school classmates were overwhelmed by an undeniable musical chemistry.

Their most recent release finds them really coming into their own, as their sound continues to mature with a calculated richness.

Sky Is Alright is doing rock right. Their new single Angeli bears shades of Pumpkins and MBV. Its noisy melodic shoegaze mixed well.

Sky Is Alright wear their influences while finding some fresh footing within the acquired realms. It pivots unexpectedly in the intriguingly bridge section, one that bears an influence to Turnstile. Altogether Angeli is a cool blend of rock elements less scene in the current indie scene.

Some artists are pushing the realms of music production forward. Willoh fits the bill. Their new single HARSH would be catchy if it were mixed clean and clear.

Offered in this altered distorted manner, it forms into something surreal and unique. The warped textures feel chemical. We think its awesome.
