Tessa Rae looks undeniable with the release of her new video and single All I Ever Wanted Was Us. There are some artists who just stand apart in both stature and talent. They tap into an elusive thread where all facets of the game look easy. A great voice, interesting songwriting, a star presence, top notch production. It’s all hear. The costumery, the site, and the seductive gazes all illuminate the music at the basis of this project. This is a master class in making it. Say you heard her here first! It’s just a matter of time. Tessa Rae is a superstar on the level of Dua Lipa or Sabrina.

Four siblings from Vienna wouldn’t be expected to make such haunting curious art. Then comes Wallners, here to change everything you know about family bands. Their new single Movie Stars is cosmic psych pop worth its weight in chemical substance. The new video only accentuates their trippy aura. Most importantly, their singer employs a rare lower tone that we find rare and exotic. As if Billie Eilish were produced by Flaming Lips and gave video rights to David Lynch.

San Gabriel finds complimentary contrast in the nostalgic past time lense seen in the video for his single Beside Me. Aggressive violent synths and cool indie pop rhetoric make San Gabriel sound like an intruder beneath the backdrop of these images. It creates an eery curiosity that feels exciting. The murky lofi images of the past never looked so bright. We love it.

Two dudes take turns jiving and grooving within the feng shui of an calming space in the video for Breathe It In from Good Wild Gods. Groovy indie folk rock swagger makes it easy to love, and the video adds to the bedroom producer aesthetic. The collaboration looks enviable and the sounds fit the aura. Dig a little further and you’ll see that Good Wild Gods is a new band collaboration from Old Sea Brigade and Luke Sital-Singh. Two emerging indie who we think flew too far under the radar. Hopefully this helps them break through. For fans of Jose Gonzalez and Gregory Alan Isakov.
