Paisley Jones gets sentimental on her new single While I Cry. A cool indie rock vibe revives visions of The Velvet Undergrounds influence while her calculated voice rings with instinctual talent. Flashes of Boy Genius intersect an introspective pen on this dynamic gem. While I Cry is a pure hit with a signature chorus fit to bring a crowd to a frenzy. I think its delicious.

Heavy In Pocket keeps it real on their new single Itchy Boo. They don’t shy from their natural rhetoric. There’s a lot of loose profanity, specifically an array of pleasantly placed F Bombs. So you won’t be hearing this one at target but you should. It’s freaky catchy and a little weird, not unlike those early MGMT gems. We think its so fun.

Mama, I Found Your Guitar. It’s a poignant sentiment. A story within a statement. “Show me everything you know, show me where my fingers go. I’m gonna be a star.” Stephen Day plays with our heartstrings and elegantly charts and afternoon happy cry playbook. Smooth and soulful, Day brings an R&B touch to the indie folk playbook.
