Lucid memories intersect with tempered dark fantasies just to get a rush out of life within this entertaining narrative. Edens isn’t afraid to admit she’s made some complicated choices, but what’s life without some careless surprise! Dead Drive has some sneaky tasty guitar work to compliments Edens smooth vocal. Stylistically they find the middle ground between Courtney Barnett and John Mayer.

We like how Gareth Inkster maps out the chord progression on his new single Domino. Its refreshingly unconventional while retaining its familiar cool. In that manner Inkster honors his classical roots while adapting that influences effectively into the indie canon. That kind of smart songwriting could win over fans of innovative underground indie pop.
