We love the vibrant production and hypnotic vocal part heard on CU, the new single from recording artist willoh. There’s violent contrast in the aggressive drum track. It’s mixed slightly in the red to give it an explosive flare. Beneath the violence a gentle guitar leads the artists sweet voice gracefully through the barrage of drums. Surprisingly the blend works and its totally addictive. Stylistically we think it will connect with fans of Pink Pantheresss and Biig Piig.

Don’t skip the video for City of Thirst, the new single from River. The video is labeled as a video Duology and its another great addition to the artists multidimensional catalog. Everything honors the aesthetic, a brand that reflect an affinity for Twin Peaks and Natural Born Killers. It’s crazy, sexy, and bizarre all at the same time. We dig what we hear from mariek, the solo project from a 24-year-old artist named Maria who is based in Moscow. Deeply influenced by indie rock, dream pop and lo-fi production, she crafts introspective, emotionally-driven songs. Every track is self-written, produced, mixed and mastered independently. She taught herself to play bass, electric guitar and keys so she could make music as a way to connect with someone who might relate to it. Her new song House On The Hill is giving us Boy Genius vibes. We love that!
