German pschedelic indie rockers Acua have just dropped their first song in three years and their popping off with tours in UK and Japan this year. The new single Now and Nothing is a sonic masterclass. Vibrant synths and well dressed tones cascade convincingly as a tempered vocal embraces their shoegaze roots. I love this kind of psych pop shoegaze blend.

There’s something very relatable about the video for THE REAPER, the new single from little image. A damn catchy song on its own, these images land spooky relatable in a way that really gets to you. “Just don’t make me start all over again.” We love what their doing. We hear a bit of Coldplay mixed wit breakthrough projects like Sombr.

Kaiya Campbell has an entrancing voice. She writes amazing songs too. Her latest Umbrella Song feels like a safety net. The vibe is illuminated by the music. Stylistically she finds the middle ground between Kacey Musgraves and Lizzie McAlpine.

We love a good live performance and the band shinyhunt delivers that and more with their releases of the Live at Spot Festival version of their song city of no one.
