Bryant Barnes’ new single, I’d Rather Pretend, is a gorgeous slice of melancholic R&B balladry that feels refreshing today. This new track, off the Texas born singer and pianist’s new EP “VANITY”, demonstrates the musicianship that has earned the singer praise from artists like Trippie Redd and Kodak Black. Bryant’s haunting tenor combines with gentle piano chords for an R&B track that has a mix of the songwriting of classic 80s ballads with modern production.

Zoe Konez-Yeah I Know

Continuing on the meditative theme of the previous song, London based singer Zoe Konez’s new track, Yeah I Know, gives us the chills every time we listen. Zoe’s latest release, recorded as she was preparing to leave home in 2023, precedes her upcoming album, the indecisiveness towards the major adjustments in her life find their way in the lyrics. Her soft harmonies combine with acoustic guitars and cinematic textures for a haunting musical experience.
