We can’t get enough of the infectious indie pop appeal heard on Fade Away, the new single from Carson Aday. It’s undeniable easy listening, bearing a semblance of the contemporary presence known to Andrew Bird or upbeat Kings of Convenience with some of the edgy updated appeal of Del Water Gap.
The songwriting is smart with some clever harmonic variation that teases your conventional imaginative flow. It’s that surprise indie listeners can’t get enough of. Aday has some additional stand out potential courtesy of his vocal talent. It’s got real pop potential, offering him a wide scope of interest. We could hear both mainstream and indie music fans digging Fade Away hard. We sure do.
