Elohyek caught our attention with the release of their new single Whats the Use. Intoxicating with their alternative rock sound and indie rock feel, Elohyek plans to drop their album Evergreen Motel which includes their single, Whats the Use. Fans of Stone Temple Pilots and Alice In Chains will instantly connect with the alternative grunge influence. Their driving bass and colorful guitar solos provide a moody aesthetic contrast. We loved their use of background to illuminate the main vocal.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Elohyek recorded all thirteen songs of for their new album between the months of august and November in 2022. Elohyek was created in 2021 by Matt Hancock who is a songwriter/producer. This project wanted to be very intentional with their sounds, which is shown in their song, Whats the Use. We loved the organic and experimental sounds they created, and encourage you to listen to their album.
