Compltr caught our attention with the release of their new single Just Desire. The atmospheric intro takes an indie rock turn with post rock influence. Fans of The National and TV on the Radio will instantly connect with this sound.

Vocalist Jeff Wright is accompanied by Madison Megna on guitar and synth, with Matthew Romero on bass. Compltr’s beautiful arrangement, can be found inside of their EP called You Won’t Get A Gold Medal. It is definitely worth checking out. 

Compltr was formed in 2016 as a solo project under Jeff Wright. His first release was as Wax Idol’s, and started the momentum of Compltr’s journey. The full band formed shortly after. Compltr has faced relatable creative challenges such as living a great distance apart and being parents. Throughout the chaos they managed to put out an excellent record. Their perseverance is an example to artists everywhere. We are huge fans of this song and the work put behind this album.
