Moonlight – Charles HS

We were captivated by Moonlight, the new release from Charles HS. Embellished in this dreamy groove, we are swept away into Charles HS story. With its infectious guitar solos and warm vocals we hear the influence of The War On Drugs and Coldplay. Two bands that were identified as being inspirations and influences for this project. We also hear similarities to indie folk standouts like Fleet Foxes and the Lumineers.

Moonlight, came from a two track EP called Moonlight / Black and White. Everything was recorded, mixed and mastered by Charles HS himself. These two songs were based on the idea of feeling sad, and looking for a way to escape all of it. There is a beautiful message and story here. We loved this one, and we are so impressed that all of this was done by one person, start to finish. We can’t wait to hear more!
