David Jacobson recently released his single Dream Bed, which is also featured on his new album called “David Jacobson and the Space Wizards II”. The Americana arrangement really pairs well with his infectious singing as he portrays his story. He uses his vocals to not only portray his message but to also embody the emotions of his past. There are hints of indie folk mixed in with alt country and Americana.
His music explores heartache and self-healing In the midst of his bedroom located in Roosevelt Island, where this record was recorded and produced. In Dream Bed we are greeted with a moody indie folk sound that embelishes traces of Allman Brown and Ray Lamontagne, with the self prescribed influence of icons including David Bowie and Bob Dylan. We think it’s delightful.
