Pet Owner stands out with their new single Mind Tricks. “I saw a vision of Jesus.” It’s the initial inspired lyric that pulls you in. The songwriter is introspective with poetic reverence. Her voices hush demeanor recalls a vibe familiar to The Shins or Elliot Smith. We love this kind of thoughtful songwriting.

Silent Collision just dropped their new single dandelion. Its a moody brooding zone out. The burned out intro collides with a thumping beat as the artist dissects fits of melancholy. A lotta sad and oddly addictive.

Kerrin Conolly writes very catchy songs. They’re refreshingly uplifting while not evolving cheesy. She trends towards an edgier sentiment on her convincing Quiet, while she’s undeniably blissful on the magnetic Big Amygdala. Always interesting and truly buzzworthy, Connolly has great stuff.
