At Least It’s Something, the debut EP by Coria, is finally here and the title track is one of our absolute favorites from the project! This song is anchored by a bright, acoustic guitar and elevated by passionate vocals. The singer’s delivery reminds us a little bit of Sia (not a comparison we get to make often!), but the overall track fits best in a category with indie pop artists like Gracie Abrams. Check out the entirety of the new EP on Spotify!

We love how the instrumental arrangement in this new single by Pet Owner works in conversation with the sentiment expressed in the refrain: I wanna get rid of my fear of messing up. It might come as a surprise, but we think “FOMU” sounds relatively fearless. The song is playful and imperfect in all the best ways. To us, it sounds completely intuitive, so perhaps this is an example of how a song’s music can liberate the speaker of its lyrics. We recommend it for fans of artists like St. Vincent.

Azure Blue breathes new life into Radiohead’s “Creep” with this synthpop cover of the alt rock classic! The artist preserves the structural integrity and melodies of the original while blowing it up with a vast, digital instrumental arrangement. The resulting track is less melancholic but more disordered than the Radiohead version. We think fans of Robyn and/or Chromatics will dig it.

Fans of alt pop artists like Alex G and Milky Chance should love this new single by Poor Petal! “focus (Uhhh)” is characterized by a tasteful balance of acoustic and digital tones. The vocal melodies are simple, percussive, and easy to sing or hum along to. The overall sound is as groovy and catchy as any indie tune we’ve ever heard.
