We love what we hear in “Porcelain,” the newest single by Strange Familia. This song erupts when it begins, and it only gets more spectacular as it continues. The bright melodic tones and dance-worthy rhythms are a perfect match for the catchy vocals and, all together, these elements make the song fun and memorable. We think it exists well in an atmosphere with indie pop/rock artists like Miike Snow and Glass Animals.
Fans of SZA need to check out this new indie R&B song by RAMIAN! “TEMPORARY SH!T” has us in our feels. The groove is slow and steady, the instruments are ambient and vibey, and the vocal melodies sound natural and resonant. If you can’t get enough of it like us, be sure to give RAMIAN’s new full-length album—IT’S DISRESPECTFUL OUTSIDE II—a listen.
Vivienne Blue is picking up steam with the release of her second single “JC Superstar.” This dreamy alt pop tune is characterized, instrumentally, by patient percussion and dynamic guitars. The highlight of the track for us, though, is the vocal performance: it’s rich, warm, and flexible. We love how the choruses blossom, and we think fans of artists like Cocteau Twins, BØRNS, and Mitski will too.
Sherakai’s debut, self-titled album is here and “Satellite” is one of our favorite songs on it! This indie pop track mixes processed analog tones in the style of Bon Iver with M83-style atmospheric melodies to achieve a refreshing and modern sound. What makes it most engaging, though, are the smooth percussive moves and infectiously catchy choruses. Be sure to check out the whole album now!
