It has a reggae flair that reminds us a little of artists like MAGIC! and a lofi indie-pop quality that brings artists like beabadoobee to mind. It even gets a little jammy toward the end, which we didn’t expect. Above all, it’s uniquely Smokey Brights.

The rhythm is frantic and compelling, and the beautiful vocal performance reminds us of artists like Jhené Aiko. The song then inventively develops into a fuller arrangement complete with atmospheric tones and a rock groove. We recommend it for fans of Alabama Shakes and/or The Black Keys.
