Sam Holmes and Harry Phillips are back as indie pop duo NIGHT FLIGHT with the release of their newest single “Lucy.” This song is the first to arrive as part of NIGHT FLIGHT’s highly anticipated upcoming record, Exit Stage Left, and it is a bittersweet, folk-inspired relaxation. Characterized mainly by an easy tempo and an acoustic guitar playing a descending progression, this song’s restrained backdrop leaves room for its sweet vocal harmonies and electric guitar interludes to really shine. We think it’s a sure thing for fans of artists like Billie Marten.

We love what we hear in “ENOUGH.” the newest indie R&B single from SNACKTIME. This song kicks off with a catchy chorus that is satisfyingly revisited throughout the track. Between the refrains, the song features clean, soulful vocals (reminiscent of Daniel Caesar’s) and fuzzy, drowsy guitar licks that remind us a little of D’Angelo. “ENOUGH.” maintains a solid groove from beginning to end and even features a wicked guitar solo around the 3:10 mark, just when you’d least expect it. This single further evidences what plenty of fans already know: SNACKTIME is one of the most inspired and prolific neo soul groups around.

The dog days of summer are near and Kramon is here with a perfectly fitting soundtrack. Their newest single, “Back Last Summer,” is a warm and whimsical trip. Anchored by a plucky acoustic guitar and a quaint core melody, this song revives a California pop aesthetic previously championed by artists like Seals and Crofts. At the same time, it incorporates modern indie rock inspiration in the form of hammering choruses that remind us a little of Sharon Van Etten. This is Kramon’s third single of 2025; we sense a palpable momentum surrounding the project.
