Ginger Winn’s new tracks “Main Character Syndrome” and “Socrates” are out now, and they come from her brand-new album Freeze Frame. The former of the two is a harmonically rich Rock anthem with psychedelic overtones. With dreamy plucks and dusty overdriven guitars, Ginger Winn’s infectious melodic vocal performance positions everything sonically.

The latter of the two tracks, “Socrates,” is sprinkled with idiosyncratic static and guitar plucks. The reverberated drums bring a depth to the tracks soundscape–that is until the final chorus when heavier drums are introduced. It feels like there’s a sense of longing in Ginger Winn’s vocals on this track, and that just brings out a sea of emotion.

You can find “Main Character Syndrome” and “Socrates” on our All New Indie Pop Playlist and check out Ginger Winn’s new album Freeze Frame on Spofity now.
