Sparse trumpet licks squeeze into the plethora of guitar tones to spice things up. The song’s jazzy core is garnished by subtle elements of other genres especially with its extensive instrumentation. Despite its tranquil energy, the song still feels notably full.

“Feel” is the new song from Chmba and Tayamika, and it’s sounding amazing. The Afro-House song is laced with infectious melodies and distant dreamy instrumentation. Although the track clearly incorporates elements of various genres, Chmba and Tayamika remain remarkably authentic with a refreshingly unique sound.

It feels hard for them to remain creatively restrained. Every element of “Feel” seems deliberately crafted, whether it’s Chmba’s crafty rhythms or Tayamika’s serene flowing vocal melodies. Something about their melodic approaches on this track are reminiscent of Beyoncé, but Chmba and Tayamika are sure to pave a lane for themselves.

Lavandou’s “Paths of Snow” starts as a beautiful ballad centered around an acoustic guitar and Lavandou’s vocals. For me, the main focal points throughout the entirety of the track are the catchy vocal melodies and her ability to maintain tonal consistency.

The song eventually blossoms into a more cinematic piece with drums and further production. Vocal chops and claps coated in reverb give the song a more refurbished and modern feel, something that compliments the ethereal synths and sound effects lining the background.
