“Riverside,” the brand-new track from Stone Arch Rivals, is out now. The guitar lick that opens the song is both tranquil and soothing, and it remains prominent throughout the majority of the verses. When the guitar solo is first introduced, it’s easy to be mistaken for a saxophone because of its smooth tone.
The vocals on this track are sentimental and dynamic, giving a further sense of authenticity and emotion. The effects on this song, whether they’re on the vocals, guitars, or organ, are all deliberately done in order to curate a vibe and make everything atmospherically cohesive.

Tim Carr has released his new song “Pleasure Drives.” The song’s programmed drums hold a unique rhythmic pattern that’s complex but easy to not overstep in terms of intensity. Carr’s falsetto vocals are a unique addition to the ethereal soundscape.
The hazy overlying piano melody and vocal samples sound beautiful amongst the complex drum patterns. During the chorus the drums progress into a less synthetic style that helps ensure there’s no enduring repetition throughout the entirety of the song.

Speedrun’s new track “Memory” is finally here. Speedrun’s catchy melodies are backed by vibey guitar chords that feel both grand and upbeat. Something about her vocal tendencies and the style of production reminds me of BENEE.
Speedrun’s backing vocals on this song provide excellent support to the leading melodies. The harmonic construct of the piece is infectious and exhilarating. The heavy drums are prominent, but focus is still on the rich harmonic aspects of the song from beginning to end.

Nikita Lev’s new track “No One’s Gonna” is a beautiful song led by Lev’s radiant vocal performance. The subtle drum pick-ups help the transitions between sections feel seamless. The distant guitars and plucks laced throughout the background are topped by bright synths and the simple but pleasant drums.
The chopped vocals and atmospheric synths make the song feel futuristic and electronic, but things like the subtle saxophone lick and drums keep it from becoming too outlandish. This track is the perfect blend of electronic and acoustic sounds, and it all comes together to form a refreshingly unique vibe.
