Sunrom’s new single “Louder” has been released. The Dance infused Pop track comes with a dreamy backdrop laced with ethereal melodies and psychedelic guitars. The relatively fast paced drums give the song an upbeat energy.

For a Pop song, I find it creative and innovative to have so much of the song’s focal point be its production, while the vocals act as the cherry on top that brings everything together. It’s as if the vocals are part of the instrumentation themselves. Without the vocals the song would feel bare, but it’s easy to lose yourself in the dreamy soundscape crafted by the production.

Sometimes we don’t always feel ourselves, and I Shiver can relate to this on his new song “Not Myself.” His tranquil vocal performance is fitting for the melancholic lyrics on display in this track.

The song is crafted deliberately, with instrumentation being introduced and stripped away during certain sections to create a sense of evolution and progression. Doubled vocals and upbeat drums make the song feel even more grand and palatial.

“Nights Alone” by Color Palette is out now, and the track is intoxicating. The retro sounding synths and drums are backed by modest guitars and topped with Color Palette’s soothing vocals.

The track’s hazy textures and exhilarating rhythms are almost contradictory to some of the solemn lyrics, but something about it all working together amasses a refreshingly unique energy unlike anything I’m used to. Put simply, the track is bittersweet.
