ALZZY’s brand new track “Glide” is a motivational summer anthem. ALZZY is honest and even a bit vulnerable, admitting that “nothing’s ever gonna change if she keeps doing things her way.” The honesty it takes to approach a subject like this showcases her maturity and shrewdness.
The upbeat instrumental feels just as motivational as the lyrics, and feels like a push towards achieving a more satisfying lifestyle. Many listeners can relate to this track in one way or another, and it’s important songs like this are recognized so people know they’re capable of improving their way of living.
“Glide” is on our All New Indie Pop Playlist now.
Frankie June’s “substack sunday” is out now. The dreamy Alternative infused Pop song even has subtle elements of Jazz sprinkled in it, which is why I feel listeners of Clairo would enjoy it. The electric piano strums, whistles, and distant guitars scattered throughout the song feel hypnotizing.
There is an intoxicating guitar solo that’s backed by June’s “la la la” melody before the final stripped down chorus. What comes before that solo is the same chorus, but with more layers and additional vocals that make it feel even more grand and cinematic than when it’s first and last heard. The track’s evolution is something to be talked about, as the beginning and end feel more tame and relaxed than the climatic middle chorus and guitar solo.

“Honey,” the new song from Little Quirks, has been released. The song is driven by its widespread acoustic guitars and infectious vocals. With influences of Folk and even tenuous hints of Country, “Honey” feels like it can’t be restricted to just a singular genre.
Sections with layered vocals are chosen precisely and really affect the energy of the song. The culmination of vocals at the 2:42 mark is like an explosion of energy after the bare section that precedes it. Little Quirks is capable of incorporating differentiating musical elements into a singular track in order to produce a fun new vibe.

Lynndigo’s new track “Ink” is a beautiful fusion of genres unlike anything I’ve heard before. Lynndigo shows off her incredibly extensive vocal range, with falling melodies that are extremely catchy and graceful high pitched backing vocals. The R&B/Hip Hop influenced drums are a refreshingly unique approach to her style of singing, but the two compliment each other perfectly.
The groovy drums and idiosyncratic percussive noises are lined with a plethora of synths and leads and even brass instrumentation, once again providing a sense of uniqueness and individuality. New leads and synths are introduced as the track progresses, which help provide variation from section to section. I love the blend of elements from various genres and how they form this refreshing new vibe.
