Moon Panda’s new track “Lost World” is a unique take on a crumbling relationship. The twinkling synths and soothing guitars lie beneath Moon Panda’s beautiful vocals which tell the story of this relationship drifting away. Her catchy melodies and relatable lyrics appeal to a wide and varietal audience.

The nostalgic and dreamy vibe of the track is replicated in its video, which features four frames simultaneously operating at once. The psychedelic instrumentation coincides with the video style as well, with its hazy shots and blurry aesthetic. The song’s production makes it feel like a glimmer of hope in a deteriorating relationship.

CATSINGTON’s new track “down way down” is a blend of genres and styles that come together to form a unique song. The various guitars and textures that line the background provide a perfect backdrop for the rest of the instrumentation and the vocals to take place.

The catchy whistle lick in this song is addictive. It compliments the guitars and modest percussion perfectly. On top of that, the complex vocal melodies and harmonic vocal layering is a unique additive to the soundscape of the track. The idea to layer a high pitched female vocal with a grumbly male vocal works perfectly, and both singers perform flawlessly.

“Secondhand Smoke,” the new single from Wildflower Mind, is a beautiful fusion of Pop and Alternative. The track’s instrumentation leaves the perfect amount of room for the vocals to shine through. Energy builds up in the verses that ultimately leads to a harmonic explosion during the choruses.

The verses are backed by modest guitars, whether they’re strummed chords or monophonic plucks, and distant atmospheric synths. The chorus contains layered vocals and additional instrumentation that makes the entire build up within the verses feel more consequential. The track concludes with a hypnotic lead that shreds over the instrumentation and feels like the cinematic final scenes of a movie.
