Emerging indie-pop artist Matt Grandbois is back with his recent single release, “Moving On,” an upbeat and vibey sonic experience that leaves us wanting more. We lost ourselves in its intoxicating neon essence; this song will be the perfect fit for your summer 2025 playlist.

We hear similarities to Rex Orange County and bands like Peach Pit in this tune, exemplified by their knack for captivating melodies, dreamy instrumental tones, and catchy lyricism. If you are looking for a fresh take on the modern indie pop/rock scene, Matt Grandbois may be the artist for you.

Sara Barron‘s “Moon” is out now. The eclectic vibe of its instrumentation and insatiable bass groove aid her excellent vocal performance in this masterful production. We love the reserved use of harmony here, being used as a transitional element and evolving with each new section without being overdone. The percussive elements of this tune are on point as well, with a perfectly synced sidechain between bass and kick drum that immediately caught our ear.

We think that fans of Addison Rae and Charlie XCX will instantly connect with this emerging artist’s quirky, pop-oriented style. Be on the lookout for more from them.

Laura Bilgeri is immediately infectious with her latest single release, “Run,” a dreamy and anthemic tune that is bound for the charts. We dig the use of synths in this one. They both carry the melody and provide an ethereal droning background layer that can only be described as euphoric. Its inventive production style is certainly noteworthy, as is her incredible vocal performance throughout the song.

We hear similarities to dream pop artists like the Cocteau Twins and Beach House with a mix of newer, more modern pop production elements. We highly look forward to hearing more in the near future.

Ed Riley is back with his new single, “Make Believe,” melancholic and moody tune with a stripped down, minimalistic production style. We begin with a lead vocal and one guitar track, only being introduced to an upright bass and a hint of stringed instrumentation about halfway through the song. We really love how this style allows the vocal to shine through, really letting those lyrics resonate in our ears and minds.

His music has that acoustic oriented pop sound similar to artists like Ed Sheeran with a more underground, indie vibe. We dig the dichotomy between mainstream pop influences and underground influences here, both utilized in a minimalistic yet catchy fashion that appeals to the masses.
