“Being Good Is Supposed to Be Easy” the latest release from American group See Night, is “the first indie-rock single off the 2025 album by L.A.-based See Night, who has a vinyl released by Pavement’s Bob Nastanovich.
The shoe gaze, dreamy, indie pop vibes take a page from the Pavement book and maintains a fine dynamic balance between light and shade with excellent precision.
The vocalist’s style is reminiscent of St. Vincent with tinges of Grace Slick. Excellent guitar production and the drums are explosive when necessary.
“nadie va a pensar em to mejor que yo” from Mexican artist Ed Maverick is a stunning piece of work.
The beautifully sparse, articulate guitar and sensational vocal performance make this a heart breaking ballad and yet holds a contemporary campfire-song quality, making it accessible to everyone, regardless of language barrier.
Be sure to check out the music video. The 8mm camera work and scenic stylings look like a darker Wes Anderson production, and the imagery coincides with the song perfectly.
