Loving the crunchy, shoe gaze sounds heard on the new single FORGONE by Milk & Bone. The Canadian project incorporates synth pop and electronic elements that would scratch fans of Luscious and St. Vincent right where they itch. The video captures the dark, dance mood of this track, but you could just as well clean the house listening to it. Great use of filtered sweeps and synth swells to keep the song lively and interesting. Check out the video
We love the cinematic feel heard on Cradle Mountain, the new single from phameon ft Tessa Fleur.
Fleur has a lush vocal delivery. The production is imaginative and dreamy. It’s a great vibe to chill to, but also a sensual opportunity to slow dance. The Australian based project should connect with fans of Lana Del Rey, Beach House, and Zero 7.
Digging the backwoods driving vibes heard in “Always Loved You”, the new single from American singer/songwriter Ronnie Blue. Blue’s vocals are akin to the purse-lipped stylings of Bon Iver, The Fray and Sufjan Stevens, surrounded by chorus laden guitar parts and swelling synths. Solid recording production, shoutout to whoever mixed the drums.
