If you’re looking for an energetic grunge pick me up, you need to hear Operation by First Day Of Spring.  The London based five piece is an indie rock powerhouse.  You can hear how they are influenced by post punk and gothic in addition to indie rock pioneers like Modest Mouse.  It’s dark and edgy and everything we hope for when we get into a new rock band.  

Lina K.O. knocked us out with her new single Wash Behind Your Ears.  This is our kind of intoxicating indie folk.  It feels like it’s been through a difficult experience, a sentiment enhanced by the convincing music video.  You can’t help but feel for the artist in this moment.  The songs appears to stem from a difficult place.  If you’re looking for something relatable you can find it here.  Stylistically we hear the lighter side of Phoebe Bridgers and Feist.   

We were pushed to the edge when we heard TOMORROW, the new single from al canopy.  We’re suckers for catchy psychedelic imaginative pop.  TOMORROW has it all.  The drama of the progressive arrangements suits the bands catchy instincts.  We think we’re in love.  For fans of Tame Impala and Sports.  

Renon suggests she has Nowhere To Go, but we have some ideas.  We think she’s headed for the top.  She elegantly finds the middle ground between Clairo and Billie Eilish.  Her writing and production style embraces the obscure, but her voice can only take her so far out of reach.  With this kind of vocal talent the radio is within reach.  Don’t wait, you’re still early.
