There’s an obscure atmospheric dream world within Clouds, the new single from Kind of Christine. It’s unconventioal, but still within reach courtesy of the singers rare undeniable talent. Stylistically we hear an influence of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush in addition to more modern artists like Bon Iver. Clouds is about a vibe, and we’re here for it.
There’s something going on in Portugal and we like it. The country is hotbed for insanely creative indie pop. The Portuguese exports hit different and zinha is near the front of the pack. Her new single so blue is expressively layered. It’s sonically rich with tickling percussive melodic treats layered throughout. Her vocal ability is strong, with an R&B sensibility that recalls icon Amy Winehouse. She’s worth the association.
Pure passion. It’s heard in the vocal performance on No Pleasure, the new single from Cult Caves. If you’re looking to be energized then this ones for you. Stylistically we hear an influence of Spoon and Arcade Fire. This ones a sure thing, but don’t wait. Cult Caves is taking off.
