It’s so refreshing when it hits your taste buds.  We’re talking about the melodically aromatic brilliance of Peppermint, the new single from Anna Justen.  Taking from both the indie folk and indie pop canons, peppermint sounds like it would connect with fans of Clairo and Phoebe Bridges.  It’s a great introduction in advance of Anna’s new album.  So damn sweet.

You’ll be thrust into a daydream in the atmospheric immersive intro at the onset of Utopia, the new single from Leoblu and World Wide Web.  The singers seductive vibe should be the first clue that a hypnotic beat is about to take control of your soul.  There’s something devilish about this aura.  It’s mysterious, an attibute that’s amplified in the music video.  Whatever’s happening in Utopia, it’s kind of strange and we like it.  Let’s get trippy.

DEVAROSE and Amina have something to say about Time Passing Over.  There’s a classic reverence to this composition.  We the legacies of Jefferson Airplane and Nick Drake within this rare folky dose of psychedelia.  It’s a convincing nostalgia, one where you see visions your ancestors waving in the mirage.  A beautiful dark indie folk highlight from this buzzworthy German import.
