We adore the spirit screen design seen on Huir, the new video from indie pop duo MOÏV.  The sensual immersive arrangement suits this imaginative design.  The singer herself has a hypnotic presence as quick shots imagine her leading you deeper into this expressive erratic dream world. It presents a microscopic view of reality.  It offers a chance for you to imagine life from a smaller scope, to slow down your life a little and get lost in beautiful casual truths.  The beauty of the world can be found in everything.  We think Huir is brilliant.

Alas De Lion is a star on the rise!  Magnetic at her essence, her vibe gets a visual lift with the video for her new single Vine Song.  Beautifully produced, the video serves as an intriguing reflection of the details about her life that make her special.  There’s a lot of metaphorical imagery here, like the fabric of our life and the trials of our ancestors.  Stylistically it’s an indie pop triumph.  Enjoy it!  

Try not to get lost in the dream world seen on Mistaken, the new single from Scout Gillett.  Where is she and how did she get here?  This Alice In Wonderland style wonder world is full of metaphorical clues to tie the songs narrative to the moments that inspired the writing.  Life is complicated.  Stylistically it connects with writers like Cat Power and Lucy Dacus.  Let’s get lost! 

The band Cigarettes for Breakfast is legit, but don’t take their namesake as advice. Smoking for breakfast is a bad idea, but when it comes to the band and their new single Seeing Stars, the bad habit starts to seem like a fun time.  Dark moody shoegaze bands need a performance video this effective.  It does well to reflect their in concert personas and energetic musicianship.  For fans of MBV and Slow Dive.
