Chloe Hansen-Flip the Script
Fans of Mitski and Mk.Gee will love Chloe Hansen’s new single, Flip the Script. Chloe’s gorgeous, hushed vocals shine on this track as she sings about the difficulties of a relationship. The slow, moody guitars provide a beautiful and languid musical backing, with a sound reminiscent of Phoebe Bridger’s work with boygenius.

Ethan Buckner-Wavering

Following up on the more meditative, indie folk sound, Ethan Bruckner’s Wavering has been on repeat for us as of late. With a soulful tenor reminiscent of Ed Sheeran, LA based singer Ethan Bruckner continues to weave heartfelt lyrics and infectious instrumentals for a compelling performance. Bringing together distorted, almost hip hop sounding drums and plucked strings, Ethan’s production recalls the more eclectic sounds of Bon Iver while bringing a unique take on the genre.

Gabriela McBride-The Garrison

For our final track, Gabriela McBride’s debut single The Garrison has really caught our attention. Primarily built off a performance of vocal and guitar played simultaneously, with layers of guitar overdubs supporting her voice, Gabriela’s songwriting demonstrates a maturity that has us captivated and waiting for what she does next. Fans of Maggie Rogers and Gracie Abrams will appreciate the soft, expressive vocals and lush yet sparse instrumentation.
