Sky White Tiger-Lion Queen

Sky White Tiger’s really caught our attention with his new single, Lion Queen. Having previously cut his teeth performing with stalwarts like Elton John, David Bowie, Grizzly Bear and Rufus Wainwright, singer and multi instrumentalist Louis Schwadron steps into the forefront with a fresh psychedelic yet funky sound. Plucked strings, boom bap inspired drums and sub heavy synth bass combine with a soulful vocal for a unique take on indie electronic pioneered by James Blake and Bon Iver.

Rye-I Feel Everything

Our next track continues with a more dream pop edge, coming from Rye with her new single I Feel Everything. The new single from the Lithuanian singer is a true dream-like trance, with her soft vocal taking center stage amidst an ambient arrangement. The guitars are a highlight as well, almost taking the role of a texture in a manner not dissimilar to Radiohead.

Roni Jean-She’s Lost Again

Finishing our selection off today is Roni Jean’s new single, She’s Lost Again. The bassist and keyboardist lets her delicate vocals shine through on this song, which expertly blends funky grooves and chill keyboard parts for Roni’s idiosyncratic sound, which she dubs “crying in the club” music. Fans of Clairo’s early work will like the melancholic, lofi production sound and multi-layered vocals.
