Ok Cowgirl-Our Love

A favorite of ours at Indie Underrated, OK Cowgirl’s new single Our Love, is a touching soft folk track that simultaneously demonstrates the band’s indie roots. The NYC based musical project of lead singer Leah Lavigne, this new single is a soft, acoustic track about taking a relationship one day at a time. The gentle acoustic guitar playing compliments Leah’s vocals perfectly.

Parlour Magic-Summerlin

Ending things on a more danceable note, Parlour Magic’s new song Summerlin hasn’t left our rotation. The NYC synth pop outfit, led by producer Luc Bokor-Smith, has really delivered with this new track. The song features punchy, 80s esque drum machines and soft synthesizers that blend with the angelic lead vocal well. It brings to mind 2010s synth pop acts like M83, MGMT and Grouplove, as well as The Weeknd’s new output.
