Bang Gang & Disa-Stay Open Heaven Knows

Bang Gang have really delivered with their new single, Stay Open Heaven Knows. The latest single from the Icelandic dream pop act finds them collaborating with singer Disa. The track is moody and lush, with hushed synthesizer chords, bubbly melodies and electric guitars that will remind the listener of Beach House and the xx. Disa’s vocals are a true highlight of this track, with a soft quality similar to Grimes. This song is a real gem and one that you will not want to miss if you love atmospheric indie pop.

Aimee Raquel-Get to Know Ya

R&B lovers looking for a groovy track will love Aimee Raquel’s debut single Get to Know Ya. The soulful songstress from San Diego demonstrates her multifaceted talent on this song, as not only are her vocals the cream of the crop for R&B, but she is also a talented bass player and producer. Aimee sings about a desire to know what her partner’s like beneath the surface and to know what they’re really about, over a beat that wouldn’t feel out of place on a SZA song. The instrumental features chill Rhodes and punchy hip hop drums that are groovy and romantic to match the vibe of the lyrics. All in all, this is a nice track to listen to with someone you love.

Eden Rain-Palo Alto

Our last track wraps things nicely with a slower ballad from UK singer Eden Rain. Eden has been making a name for herself with slow burning, ethereal indie pop that pulls influence from the “sad girls” on the scene like Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan. Eden’s vocals compliment the song well, with a croon that brings out the melancholy in the lyrics. She recently did a tour of the UK, having completed stops in Liverpool and Bristol. The music video for this song is particularly creative, with hand drawn animations done by Eden herself imposed over footage she took while making the song.
