The latest track from the LA based musical wunderkind, this song is a cover of the Mazzy Star classic that shows off Edie’s penchant for ethereal, dreamy instrumentals. Edie’s voice has a very light, angelic quality that soars over the instrumental.
Layers of acoustic guitar fill the mix, with an occasional piano melody that bounces off of Edie’s vocals. The instrumental is gorgeous with a distinctly dream pop sound. Fans of Lana Del Rey will be accustomed to the new track, and will surely find a place for this song on their playlist.
