Julia Logan’s new single, Mirrors, hasn’t left our rotation. The lead single from Julia Logan’s upcoming album, this track follows up on her debut release, Everly Foreverly, perfectly. The Swedish singer’s vocals really shine on this track, with lyrics that draw on a sense of yearning and melancholy that really show in the performance. The track is right up the alley of fans of classic folk rock and modern day indie pop, with the songwriting taking influence from artists like Maggie Rogers and Fleetwood Mac.

Leah Mason-Midas Touch

Leah Mason’s new single Midas Touch truly lives up to the title. The Nashville based artist, whose work has previously been compared to Kacey Musgraves by PEOPLE magazine. Following up on her 2023 Ep, Honeydew & Hennessy, this track takes a much more pop focused direction that really demonstrates Leah’s biggest musical influence, the work of Taylor Swift. Leah’s hushed soprano is supported by twangy guitars, ticking percussion and washed out synthesizers that recall the latest Dua Lipa record.

Courtney Farren-Fear

Rounding out the lineup for today is Courtney Farren’s new single, Fear. The Los Angeles based, San Francisco singer songwriter’s new track, the first since her 2023 EP Rabbit King, is an upbeat indie rock track with a sound that recalls the work of Phoebe Bridgers and Shura. The chugging yet chill guitar work and light, bell like synths add a nice alternative touch that recalls 2000s power pop. Courtney’s lyrics are personal and relatable, discussing the desire to be more open and let go of fears and insecurities.
