PJ Aviles-Autumn Moon

PJ Aviles’ new song is chill, indie pop at its finest. In a similar vein to the last song, PJ Aviles’ new song is a mellow, romantic ballad. Accompanied by light, clean guitar tones reminiscent of artists like Daniel Caesar and Phoebe Bridgers, PJ sings of the happiness his loved one brings him and how much easier life becomes with them around. Primarily inspired by folk, the production lends it a pop edge. PJ’s vocals are soothing and multilayered, with a tone similar to Blake Mills. All in all, this track is a fun listen perfect for spending a summer night with those you care about.

Baggs-Happy Pill

The last track we’ll be covering, Baggs’ new track Happy Pill, serves as a fitting conclusion thematically. Bagg’s new track, Happy Pill, features the Singaporean singer-songwriter singing about the euphoria he feels while daydreaming about his beloved. The track features light acoustic guitar strumming as well as single note piano lines that evoke a melancholic, dreamlike quality. Vocally, Baggs’ vocals are soft and boyish, with a sound similar to Cavetown.
