Native Speaker’s Aquatherapeutic is truly a delight for the ears. The newest single from the UK based post punk band is a gorgeous new wave throwback that incorporates modern conventions of the indie sound. The vocals are carefree and lush, with layers of reverb that create the feeling that they are another texture to the music.

The music itself is beautiful, with lugubrious new wave guitars juxtaposed with driving punchy drums. brings to mind many post punk bands of the 80s, such as early U2, The Smiths and New Order. The chorus has a very distorted feel, with crunchy guitars playing a catchy lead line. The song is perfect for a late night drive through town.
