Yo!  That’s some dope animation!  That was our first reaction to the brilliance that is Thieves, the new video from Yvonne Ambrée.  The video suits the artists rare experimental creative appeal.  We hear evidence of Radiohead and Bjork to compliment her own instinctual genius.

Her incredible imagination is reflected in the videos dream scene, where a collage of images evolve within a picture frame.  It’s just one highlight from this remarkable work.  Thieves stole our heart.

Yvonne Ambrée – Thieves

If you’re stuck in a corporate prison well then we’ve got the song for you!  It’s paired with a passionate video to accentuate the affect.  Tiny Ships hits all the marks in the video for their song You’re not right

This anthemic alt rock banger has enough gusto on its own to bring a concert crowd to a frenzy.  The video is even more invigorating, and in a way connects the classic influence of Nirvana in both sound and sight.  See if You’re Not Right, press play.

Shaky recuts a lost classic in the video for their single Earthquake. The solo project from a former member of underground indie breakthrough Cold Fronts,  Shaky is explosive.

Earthquake defies convention in how it blends rock and an island influence in the drum and percussion parts, similar to punk pioneers The Clash.  A killer debut from this artist to watch.

Classic indie rock project Grand Public grabbed our curiosity again with the video for their new single Clap.  There’s something comforting about these kind of interactions.

There’s an unfamiliar lack of urgency, an introspective nature thats counter to culture here in the States.  It also offers some contrast to the music, with an arrangement thats puzzled vibrantly.  We hear an influence of Television mixed with recent updates known to 5th wave emo.  We’re big fans.

Gadless caught our attention with the video for their new single All Lights On You.  The song is beautifully arranged with gorgeous orchestration to illuminate its harmonious nature.

The video enhances the experience with a curious narrative that delivers in the twist.  Everything is not as it seems within this femme fatale mystery.  The band makes great work within a modest budget.  Watch to the end.
