Close To Monday embrace their electro pop ethos in the video for their single Stranger.  The visuals effectively illuminate their electric essence.  From the setting to the thematic modern dance to the stylistic portraits, everything is in its right place.  The storyline is intriguing too, with the dance existing between two parallel realties.  It’s absolutely incredible with amazing performances from all involved.  See the dancer in their dark.  

We were captivated by the video for River, the new single from Zustra.  An imaginative mystic epic, the video is a crisp chrome prophetic vision.  An array of images, blessed with fantastic costumery, elude to realms of folklore excitingly.  It’s the kind of video that inspires a full screen adaption.  The music has a dark chamber reverence, like a Gothic Enya.  Check it out.  

The polarity of human experience is amplified in the video for Silly, the new single from My Gravity Girls.  There’s a variety of weirdness and oddity, all amplified by a mundane sense of isolation,  For us it speaks to the perils of counter culture at the height of the pandemic.  How did you cope?  We dig the song too, an abstract indie pop gem that blends the auras of The National and Future Islands.  Let’s Get Weird.  

We dig the eccentric vibes mattfbasler offers in the video for their new single Waste Of Time.  The singer might be quirky but the song is not joke.  The contrast is refreshing.  We need some new rock stars and their frontman doesn’t shy from the theatric.  The band bears an influence of 90s grunge and alternative in a way that’s not derivative.  The performance just amplifies that notion.  Dig in. 

In the video for their new single Don’t Forget Us, the band Permanent Moves along with singer Jessie Shelton show their multidimensional might.  From expressive painting to modern dance to paper puppetry, the Brooklyn group aligns themselves with the expansive art community.  The track itself features an array of musicians, mirroring their own legacy as once being a 15 person band.  Beyond the art, we love the sense of community the video represents.  Check it out.
