Our addiction to nostalgia gets thrust into hyperdrive with the discovery of Mockingbird Skies.  More than just a stylistic smoke show, this project offers an imaginative concept that tickles our creative fancy.  That concept is offered in its entirety below, direct from their Spotify bio.  It’s something we never do but Mockingbird Skies deserves it.  It’s a testament to this rare project.  The new album We Can Start A Revolution delivers too.

You can’t keep a TIME -traveling legend down. In 2078 DAVE GRANGER (former lead singer of GRAVE DANGER) won a time travel vacation of his choice on the TV SHOW “Let’s get the hell out of here”. Dave’s band GRAVE DANGER had reached the highest highs, had mega hits, but he was not satisfied with being a legend in a time when music sucked donkey @%#**’s.

Dave had the analog sounds of the 80’s pouring through his veins, his dream of meeting The B 52’s and Michael Stipe of legendary REM Athen’s Ga fame, brought him to the TV Show which allowed him to be presently living in 2023 space time-continuum.

On a cold autumn night 1988, Dave appeared in a BUSH on the University of GA CAMPAS wearing nothing but gold underwear and a slew of ROLEX-WATCHES… he traded a surprised happy student a solid gold watch for his over -coat. Hooked up with a beautiful FLOWER CHILD pot dealer and embarked on his journey of perfecting his songwriting and recording chops – using what he calls the ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY.

Mockingbird Skies, first ALBUM (and possible their last) celebrates the up-tempo thoughtful fun loving sounds we all love… we look forward to seeing your happy faces light up – as we prepare to kick ass and take no prisoners. BUT – expect the UNEXPECTED!
