Anthemic hard rock has a champion in the works of Jane N’ The Jungle.  Their new single Cut Me Open reasserts their leads dominance as a modern Rock vixen.  Her dynamic voice can land strong or blend elegantly into the immersive presence of the heavily distorted guitars.  In that way she blends the legacies of Hailstorm and Hayley Williams.  It’s embellished in the song acoustic bridge pivot, where her entrancing quivering vibrato takes center stage.  Her power and aggression adds to rare exotic appeal.  It’s fitting that she was channel Elvira, the iconic dark beauty, in the songs fantastic music video.  She combines that influence with the bride of Frankenstein.  It’s dark and beautiful, and we love that contrast.

Jane N’ The Jungle – Cut Me Open

The Jungle are equally praiseworthy, nailing a tight syncopated design and offering new riffs unlike anything we’ve heard in this canon.  Their tonality is thick and offers depth and punch to match the big presence of their lead singer.  Cut Me Open straight up slays.
