The suspense grows with epic dramatic appeal on Opus, the new single from NIRØ.  The drama builds with some of the dark cyber punk appeal known to Carpenter Brut, and a nostalgic melodic brilliance that in doses recalls an influence of classics like Pink Floyd.  There are stylistic quips from Any Colour You Like and On The Run.  It’s a fascinating ascension to hear that classic influence brought into this new electronic age.

NIRØ utilizes a primary bass synth full of punch and texture to add vibrancy to every moment.  This is our kind of electronic music, nostalgic with some wave inspiration to match its modern technical prowess.  We think Opus crosses over and pulls in some fans from the broad indie music canon.  Dig in and hear for yourself.

Opus is featured on our Indie Underrated Playlist.
