Madebit caught our attention with the cosmic electro pop of their new album An Alien Among Us.  The albums title suits its intergalactic pop feel.  Dynamic arrangements are illuminated with smart synth heavy productions.  There are elements of 80s pop mixed with modern trends in electronica and an indie sensibility blended into the vocal melodies.  It’s especially heard on the title track and breakthrough singles like A Sound Is Born (Evolution of Self)

Stylistically the artist adapts with experimental flex on stand outs like Sandy Beaches, Moon Dance, and Intermission (I Do What I Want). We even hear some intellectuals pop influence in the vein of Beyonce on catchy exotic jams like Bring It Out

A prolific release featuring 12 dynamic productions, the Nashville based artist asserts herself as an intriguing force in the world of indie electronica. The album as a whole is truly a journey with some progressive appeal that never feels out of place.  It stays within a sonic canon while never hanging around an idea for too long.   Stylistically she’s a sure thing for fans of Ladytron, St Vincent, and Polica.
