If you haven’t heard Lissy Taylor’s new single, Feel For Me, you’re missing out! Having come off the buzz of playing her music on stations like BBC Radio 2, John Kennedy X Radio and xposure, this track highlights the strength of Lissy’s songwriting. Lissy’s performance is varied and emotive, with a chill, almost childlike timbre to her voice. Her vocal performance recalls vocalists like Avril Lavingne.
The production is loud, bombastic and driving, with a pop punk flare to the arrangement. The guitars have a sound thats at times droning in terms of the lead guitar, with a rhythm part that chugs along a chord progression that carries throughout the song. Fans of 2000s punk acts like My Chemical Romance and Paramore will easily find a place for this track in their rotation.
