Anya Van Rose-Lucky Stars

You have to check out Anya Van Rose’s new music video to her track, Lucky Stars. The video features 3 body doubles of Anya and a Wes Anderson inspired visual scheme. The music video itself got enough attention to land Anya and the doubles a spot on the National Pro Football Hall of Fame parade float where they performed this song with a choreographed dance routine. The song itself has a crunchy indie rock groove that is captured by the quirky and carefree nature of the visuals. Fans of artists like Lana Del Rey and Phoebe Bridgers will gravitate to this song easily.

Psychic Poppies-All I wanna Do

Our final track comes from the dream pop project Psychic Poppies. This song, All I Wanna Do, is a cover of the track of the same name off The Beach Boys’ 1970 record Sunflower, which the band members, Chris Maxie and Dani Gentry, bonded over. The song is a beautiful reimagining of the original with an updated sonic palette that carries through the original’s psychedelic spirit. Chris’ vocals are boyish and expressive that float against the soundscape created by Dani. The guitars are warbled, drums are blaring and Mellotron strings fill in the gaps. Fans of Mild High Club will love this track.
