Psychic Poppies-All I wanna Do

Our final track comes from the dream pop project Psychic Poppies. This song, All I Wanna Do, is a cover of the track of the same name off The Beach Boys’ 1970 record Sunflower, which the band members, Chris Maxie and Dani Gentry, bonded over. The song is a beautiful reimagining of the original with an updated sonic palette that carries through the original’s psychedelic spirit. Chris’ vocals are boyish and expressive that float against the soundscape created by Dani. The guitars are warbled, drums are blaring and Mellotron strings fill in the gaps.
