The final video released to vissia’s new single, With Pleasure, the video is a truly inventive short film for sci fi and western fans. The film follows vissia as the protagonist of a space opera tale, playing a character inspired by vintage pin up girl illustrations from the 50s. She battles against DIY robots that give the video the vibe of a fun, campy science fiction B movie from the 1950s.
The song itself doesn’t disappoint, with the vibe of a futuristic country ballad. Vissia’s vocals have a rich alto quality with a richness to it that recalls vocalists like Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves. The production is a slow tempo ballad that balances synth pads and 80s drums with bluesy guitar parts that flutter in and out of the arrangement.
